Our Process
The dipping process is a unique way to customize just about anything. This is a simplified overview of the complicated process.
First, the item is scuffed and metal & glass objects will be etched to promote proper adhesion. The item will then be wiped down to remove any oil or residue. Any sections of the item that do not require dipping, will be taped off. Once the item is primed, a base coat is applied. After the item is dried it is ready to be dipped.
The printed film is cut to size and placed on top of water in the temperature controlled dip tank. Each item is dipped at different angles and speed to ensure proper coverage. Once dipped, the item is rinsed and hung to dry. Once dry, the item is then sprayed with a clear finish (matte or glossy).
